Salvation's Edge Raid Guide — How to Beat It

Salvation's Edge is the endgame raid of The Final Shape, and it ends with the fight against The Witness itself. You'll clear five encounters — Substratum, Herald of Finality, Repository, Verity, and The Witness — each built around shape and symbol mechanics that need everyone calling out what they see. It's the most mechanically demanding raid in the game, so bring a six-stack on comms. The full walkthrough is below, with a video guide that covers every step including how to beat The Witness.

How to beat Salvation’s Edge

Salvation’s Edge is the final boss of the franchise’s first decade — literally. You climb through five encounters and end up swinging at The Witness, the thing every campaign has been building toward. It’s hard, it’s long, and it does not forgive a quiet team. Comms are not optional here.

Encounter walkthrough

  1. Substratum — The platforming opener. Platforms dissolve under you, so keep moving, grab resonance, and dunk it to build the path forward. Low mechanics, just don’t fall.
  2. Herald of Finality — Your first boss. You’re juggling Light and Dark resonance to break the Herald’s shield, then burning it down between phases. Assign who grabs what before you start.
  3. Repository — A shape-and-symbol room. Teams charge the right symbols and deposit them across connected rooms. One wrong dunk resets your progress, so call every shape out loud.
  4. Verity — The puzzle wall, and the reason most groups stall. Three players inside hold 2D shapes; three outside hold 3D shapes. You swap pieces by callout until everyone has the correct shape. Slow, precise, and brutal if comms break down.
  5. The Witness — The finale. Cleanse the Glyphkeepers, build the correct shapes to expose The Witness, then stagger it and unload during the damage window. Survive the adds, repeat the cycle, and you’ve finished the saga.

Verity is where comms make or break the run. If your team goes quiet, you wipe — full stop.
